AI Boost packs are a $25/mo recurring add-on that extends your org’s monthly AI quota. Each active boost adds:
- +1,000 AI Calls (Concierge, How Do I, captions, etc.)
- +100 AI Generations (postmortem drafts, fix-PR, runbook gen)
- +100 Agentic Actions (rotate-vault-secret, rollback, etc.)
Boosts are stackable — buy 3 to triple the extension. They’re recurring — Stripe charges $25/mo per active boost until you cancel. Available on every paid tier (and to Free orgs as an upgrade-without-Team-features path).
When to buy a boost vs. upgrade your tier

How to buy
- Open
apps.marboba.com → Settings → Billing. - Scroll to the AI Usage card → Buy AI Boost (the button appears once any AI bucket hits 80% of soft cap; you can also open the Organization page → AI Usage card → same CTA).
- Stripe Checkout opens with the AI Boost pack pre-filled. Pick a quantity (1 = $25/mo, 3 = $75/mo, etc.) and complete checkout.
- Once checkout completes, your effective monthly quota grows immediately — no further setup.
How the math works
Plan caps + boost extensions are additive. Example: a Team plan org with 1 active boost.

The per-seat AI Calls cap multiplies by your active seat count automatically (so the per-org effective cap on a 5-seat Team org is 10,000 calls soft, 25,000 hard, before any boost).
What you see after buying
- The Organization page’s AI Usage card shows a “X active boosts” chip in the header.
- Each per-bucket meter’s “soft / hard” numbers grow.
- The sysadmin Org Detail card shows the same chip + active boost count.
- Stripe sends an invoice email; subsequent months are charged automatically.
Cancel a boost
- Open
apps.marboba.com → Settings → Billing→ Manage in Stripe (uses Stripe’s hosted Customer Portal). - Find the AI Boost subscription, click Cancel.
- The cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Your effective cap drops back to the plan default at period end.
Enterprise BYO-key path
If your monthly AI bill is bigger than the cost of dedicated infrastructure, ask sales about Enterprise BYO-key: plug your own Anthropic or OpenAI account, MarBoba’s per-call inference cost goes to zero, your seat price reflects “MarBoba runs the agent loop, you supply the model.” See AI provider routing for details.
